An Indiana youth has been charged with burglarizing Wolf Creek Marina over the weekend.
Video surveillance revealed the rear door of the marina was entered by a lone perpetrator late Saturday night with several hundred dollars worth of merchandise stolen.
An investigation by Lt. David Cain with the Russell County Sheriff’s Department determined the identity of the burglar. After contact was made with the young man’s father, he was brought in for questioning and the stolen merchandise was returned.
The 16-year-old is being charged in Russell Juvenile Court with Burglary 3rd Degree & Theft by Unlawful Taking. He was released to his parents pending further court action.
