The Adair County Fire Department responded to two separate fires over the weekend, including one that destroyed a mobile home.
The first fire occurred at 76 Hawk Branch Road in the Millerfield community at 12:14 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, 201. Upon arrival, the mobile home was totally engulfed in fire and was a total loss. Property owners are Ryan and Shannon Fuller. Fiteen firemen were on the scene for 2 hours. A wood stove is believed to be the cause of the fire.
The second fire was a grass fire that occurred at 12:48 p.m. Saturday at 4448 Hwy 900 at property owned by Steve Gagalio. According to the press releaes, damage was minor and 3 firemen responded to the fire and were on the scene for 30 minutes.
