Springfield, Ky. (December 27, 2017) – Tpr Adam Likins is investigating a collision that occurred on Tuesday, December 26th at 3:46 PM on Bloomfield Road. 67-year-old Donald Ray Carney, of Springfield, was operating a 2008 Dodge Ram on Bloomfield Road when he lost control of the vehicle, exited the roadway, struck a culvert went airborne and landed, overturned, in the ditch line.
Carney was pronounced dead at the scene by the Washington County Coroner and was not wearing a seatbelt. Tpr. Likins was assisted on scene by the Washington County Sheriff's office, EMS and Rescue.
