Two persons were arrested Tuesday afternoon for trafficking in, and possession of methamphetamine.
Just before 12:30pmCT, Sgt. Evan Burton made contact with Joey Stiltz, 39, of Jamestown and Dawn Sinclair, 41, of Russell Springs, KY who were in a 2001 Mercury car in the parking lot of the Fairview Plaza at the intersection of KY 80 & KY 910. Sgt. Burton’s investigation included utilizing his partner, K-9 Matt. Subsequently, a quantity of “crystal meth”, marijuana and drug paraphernalia items were found.
Stiltz and Sinclair were both lodged in the Russell County Detention Center on charges of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Lt. David Cain & Deputy Terry Burchett also assisted.
