2018 ADAIR CO. CRUSADE TOTAL AN ALL TIME HIGH!

 
Adair Co. Fire Dept.'s would like to thank everyone who supported the WHAS Crusade this past year. According to Public Info. Officer Donald Hare, the departments are excited to finally top the 2002 high total of $55,544.73! This year's total was an 85.16% increase over last years total of $32,795.09.
 
GRAND TOTAL COLLECTED IN ADAIR CO. - $59,746.69!
 
 
Adair Co. Firefighters travelled to WHAS in Louisville, KY on Sunday, June 3, 2018 to turn in money collected for the Crusade for Children. It was the first time in 17 years that Adair Co. firefighters made the trip to Louisville. In the past several years, money collected has been presented on Sat. afternoon at a live WBKO 13 remote in Campbellsville, KY. Local firefighters presented money collected live on WHAS TV (channel 11) on Sunday afternoon. 
 
Every dollar given in Adair County returns to Adair County in the form of a WHAS grant. The totals reported include the Columbia-Adair County Fire Department, Breeding Area Volunteer Fire Department, and Knifley Area Volunteer Fire Department totals.

Breeding Fire Dept.                         $2,450.00
