Two people injured in a head-on collision Saturday night on Hacker Road, Somerset.
Pulaski County Sheriff's Deputies responded around 9pm. They say Crystal Pitman, age 37 of Nancy, was westbound in a 2006 Suzuki Forenza when she crossed the center line into the path of a 2014 Toyota Corolla, operated by Benjamin Proffitt, age 42 of Somerset.
Pitman was extricated from the wreckage by Somerset Fire Department personnel and was treated at the scene by EMS before being transported to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was later airlifted to the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
Proffitt was also treated at the scene by EMS personnel and transported to LCRH for treatment.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
