A Nancy resident was injured in a single vehicle accident Tuesday morning, June 5, 2018 according to Sheriff Greg Speck.
At approximately 7:30 AM, Lieutenant Jon Williams of the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 call of an automobile accident at West Highway 80 and Lee's Ford Dock Road.
Upon arrival at the scene, Lieutenant Williams found a single victim suffering injuries from the wreck. James Fultz, age 30 of Nancy, Kentucky was westbound on Highway 80 when he failed to negotiate a curve and crossed into the eastbound lane and left the roadway. The 2011 Kia SUV travelled down the ditch line and struck a utility pole.
Mr. Fultz was treated at the scene by EMS personnel and transported to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Deputy Steven Alexander and volunteers from the Nancy Fire Department assisted at the scene.
