A Somerset, KY man has been charged with murder in connection with the death of a Lincoln County woman.
45 year old Otha Wesley was previously identified as a suspect in the disappearance of April Lynn Neikirk. He was arrested on charges of murder and abuse of a corpse Thursday. Wesley is charged with murder, domestic violence; abuse of a corpse; and tampering with physical evidence. He was lodged in the Lincoln County Jail.
Neikirk, 46, went missing April 25, 2018 and was officially reported missing on May 11, 2018. Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy Rob Oney has been working along side a private investigator, and Pulaski County Constable, Mike Wallace. The investigation took a turn with the discovery of Neikirk's body in southern Lincoln County.
Kentucky State Police then took the lead and made the arrest. Authorities say more arrests are possible.
