A Russell Springs man was arrested on a felony drug trafficking charge following a traffic stop Monday morning just off Lakeway Drive.
Jonathon D. McElroy, 36, was taken into custody around 8:30 a.m. by RCSO Det. Joey Hoover and RSPD Sgt. Bobby Pritchard and charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after just over a half-ounce of “crystal meth” and several syringes were found.
McElroy was processed and lodged in the Russell County Detention Center.
