A single vehicle wreck on “Bernard Ridge Road” sent a Jamestown man to the local hospital then to jail Saturday evening.
Sgt. Mark Cromwell’s investigation determined that 34-year-old William Seth Oaks lost control of the 1996 GMC truck on KY 619, the vehicle left the road and struck a tree. Oaks was transported by Russell County EMS to the Russell County Hospital where he was treated for his injuries. After being released from medical care, Oaks was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center on charges of 3rd offense DUI and Driving on a DUI Suspended License.
