A Russell Springs, KY man was apprehended on a Parole Violation warrant Monday afternoon and now faces new charges including Resisting Arrest and Fleeing from Police on Foot.
47-year-old Michael R. Kerr was taken into custody around 3:45pm off of Cleveland Road, about one mile east of Russell Springs. Kerr attempted to flee the residence by going through a hole in the mobile home’s flooring but was subdued moments later when he was tasered.
Kerr was arrested by Deputy Nathan Ginn, Deputy Lee Smith, Sheriff Clete McAninch and RSPD Officer Ethan Pike.
