An Adair County man was charged with multiple charges after incident at Parking Lot of TJ Health Columbia.
On Saturday, August 8, 2018, Columbia Police were dispatched to TJ Health in response to a request from security for assistance in removing a person from the property. Officers observed him on the property and made contact, determining that he was under the influence of an intoxicating substance. They then advised 43 year old Christian Wheeler he was under arrest. At that point, Wheeler began to resist officers and attempted to run at one point but was quickly caught. Wheeler continued to punch, kick and attempt to bite officers before he was subdued.

He was arrested by CPD Officer Jordan Dean who was assisted by Officer Jamie Cole, Constable Jason Rector, TJ Health security and Adair Co. Sheriffs Deputies.
