Fire and emergency personel responded to a fire Friday morning at approx.10amCT on Industry Drive in Jamestown, KY.
A controlled burn next to the building that housed the old Robert's Body Shop got out of control which resulted in the shop sustaining a significant amount of damage. Power lines were also down as a result of the fire.
Jamestown Fire Chief Jeff Landers was injured and transported by Russell County EMS to the Russell County Hospital ER. Emergency Services said Chief Landers was struck in the head.
The Jamestown and Russell Springs Volunteer Fire Department's were on the scene for several hours.
