Adair County Sheriff Harrison Moss reports that on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at 11:40amCT, Adair County Deputy Josh Durbin responded to an injury accident involving a motorcycle on Hwy 900.
Preliminary Investigation determined that 75-year-old Kenneth Walker of Columbia, KY was driving east bound on Hwy 900 when he lost control in a curve due to a mechanical malfunction. Walker then traveled off the left side of the road striking a fence, traveling down the fence for a short distance with the motorcycle coming to rest on its side. Walker was thrown on the other side of the fence. He was treated by Adair County EMS on the scene then transported to TJ Samson Hospital in Glasgow, KY.
Deputy Durbin was assisted on the scene by Adair County EMS.
