An Adair County woman was charged with theft after investigation of stolen appliances.
On Friday, August 31, 2018 the Columbia Police department responded to a reported theft in the 500 block of West Barbee Street. During the investigation, police discovered that an air conditioning unit and a kitchen stove had been stolen from the property. On Monday, September 3, 2018 Officer Josh Brockman located the items on New Concord Road and returned them to the owner.
36-year-old Jessica Morrison of Columbia, KY was charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking under $500 and lodged in the Adair Co. Regional Jail.
