Another animal has been found dead under unusual circumstances in Monroe County.
According to WBKO channel 13, a calf was found dead Saturday in the same general area where a number of other animals have been found killed. It is unclear if any of the deaths are connected. Three horses, a pit bull and a husky were found dead recently in the Bill Butler Spur area of Tompkinsville. Authorities believed at first the animals might have been killed by a wild animal, but fish and wildlife officials later said that did not appear to be the case.
The incidents remain under investigation.
