The Columbia City Council met on Wednesday evening to a short, but very important agenda. The 2018 Ad Valorem tax rate was reduced from last year's rate, good news for City of Columbia property owners. According to Mayor Curtis Hardwick, the decrease was due to an increase in property values.
More good news for walkers and runners in the Greensburg Street area. The bid from Mid State Construction was accepted for the reconstruction sidewalk project and crosswalk addition.
