One person injured in a single vehicle accident in Pulaski County early Wednesday.

Pulaski County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene about 6 miles north of Somerset at the intersection of Beech Grove Road and Oil Center Road.

24 year old Stetson Dick, of Somerset, told Deputies his brakes failed, causing him to lose control of a 2002 Chevrolet pickup and strike a tree.

A passenger, Megan Stacy, age 21, also of Somerset, was ejected from the vehicle. She was treated on scene by Somerset EMS, and transported to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Science Hill Fire personnel assisted.

The investigation is ongoing by the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office.
