On Saturday, November 3rd, the Adair County Sheriff's Office responded to the 1000 Block of Green Hills Road to a single vehicle accident with injuries.
A preliminary investigation determined that Theresa Savage, 49, of Louisville, KY was traveling west in a 2005 Nissan Maxima, when she failed to navigate a left hand curve. Savage then overcorrected, resulting in the vehicle flipping several times until coming to a stop. Savage was transported by Adair County EMS to T.J. Health Columbia for treatment of injuries sustained.
Upon being medically cleared and released from the hospital, Savage was placed under arrest for Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol .08 or higher. She was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail. Alcohol is believed to be the determining factor in the collision.
