TAYLOR COUNTY, Ky. - A fatal crash occurred Tuesday afternoon in Taylor County. One person was killed in the accident and a child is in critical condtion.
The wreck occurred at approx. 3:30pmET on Highway 55 about 3 miles south of Campbellsville. A passenger in a taxi, 31-year-old Steven Kyle Taylor of Burkesville, KY, died as a result of the accident. Several others, including a child, were hurt. The child is in critical condition.
The coroner said that it appears the crash happened when a vehicle that was stopped was rear-ended, causing a chain-reaction. One of the vehicles involved was hauling logs.
