Russell County newly elected officials will be sworn in during ceremony on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at the Russell County Schools Auditorium/Natatorium Complex at 1:00pmCT. Judge Debra Hembree Lambert with the Kentucky Supreme Court, 3rd Supreme Court District, will swear the local officials in. A reception will follow the ceremony and the public is invited to attend. Constables, who will be out of town at a training on January 6th will be sworn in by Russell County Attorney Kevin Shearer at a ceremony on Friday, January 4, 2019 at the Russell County Courthouse in the old courtroom at 2:00pmCT.
