One person was arrested Wednesday evening following a high speed pursuit that lasted nearly 60 miles.
Investigators say 38-year-old William Joseph Taylor led Boyle County authorities into Casey County on Highway 127 at speeds over 100 MPH. He lost control and crashed his vehicle on Allen Creek Road, near the Bread of Life Cafe. Taylor was arrested by the Boyle County Sheriff’s Office on multiple traffic offenses, along with Wanton Endangerment (Police Officer)-1st Degree, Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana, and Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon. He remains lodged in the Boyle County Jail.
Members of the Casey County Sheriff’s Department, Kentucky State Police, and Dunnville Volunteer Fire Department also responded.
