A Green County man died late Saturday, January 5th, 2019 after being attacked by his step-son with a hammer.
49-year-old Richard Gregory of Ralph Vaughn Road in Greensburg, KY was assaulted with a hammer and beaten multiple times by 32-year-old Robert L. Cundiff, Jr. of Greensburg. According to Green County officials, following the attack Cundiff put Richard (who was still alive) under a crawl space under the house. When found, Gregory was taken to Jane Todd Hospital where he died of injuries sustained in the attack.
Cundiff was arrested by Kentucky State Police and charged with Murder and Tampering with Evidence. The case remains under investigation.
