Casey County Sheriff's Deputy Geoff Brown responded to a 2-vehicle accident around 1:00pmET on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at the intersection of KY 837 & East 70.

The report says a 2005 Mercury Sable, driven by 61-year-old Iva Clements of Bethelridge, KY pulled out of the intersection & into the path of a 2007 Chevy Silverado Pickup operated by 53-year-old Teresa Richards of Hustonville, KY who was headed east on KY 70. 13-year-old James Richards of Liberty, KY was a passenger in the Richards auto.

At least one person was treated on scene by Casey County EMS, then flown to University of Kentucky in Lexington for further treatment.
