A Casey County man was arrested following a pursuit.
On Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 5:42pmCT, Adair Co. Sheriff Josh Brockman attempted to stop a 2003 Nissan SUV after it was observed operating on KY 55 with no headlights. The vehicle failed to stop and continued toward town. It came to a stop after turning on several city streets in a driveway on North Bramlett Street.
The driver, 40 year old Roger McDonald of Casey County, KY was arrested by Sheriff Brockman on the following charges:
- Operating a Motor Vehicle under Influence of Drugs
- Operating on DUI suspended license
- Possession of Controlled Substance, 2nd degree
- Possession Drug Paraphernalia
- No Insurance
- Failure to illuminate Headlights
He was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail.
