A Taylor County man was treated for non life threatening injuries following a 1-vehicle accident in Campbellsville on Thursday, February 21, 2019.
At 7:53pmET last evening, the Taylor Co. Sheriff's Office responded to a single vehicle injury collision at the intersection of Spurlington Road and Barney School Road. Tom H. Smith, 80, of Campbellsville, KY was operating a 2015 Dodge Ram pickup truck, traveling east on Spurlington Rd when he jumped a curb and struck a tree head-on. Smith was transported to Taylor Regional Hospital by Campellsville Taylor Co. EMS with non-life threatening injuries.
Taylor County Deputy Mark Dickens investigated the accident. Campbellsville/Taylor County Fire & Rescue responded and assisted at the scene.
