On Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 10:21pmCT, the Adair County Sheriffs Office conducted a traffic stop on a 2001 Buick operated by 39-year-old Angela Robinson of Columbia, KY. Deputies became suspicious there was illegal narcotics in the vehicle and called for the drug K-9 "Gunner" to assist in the search. With Gunner's assistance, a bag containing suspected methamphetamine was located inside the vehicle.
Robinson was arrested by Deputy Chandler Staten and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, 1st degree and lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail. Deputy Staten was assisted by Chief Deputy Justin Cross, Deputy Joey Keith and K-9 Officer John Dial, along with Gunner.
