The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 8 Office advises motorists to expect delays on the Louie B. Nunn/Cumberland Parkway in Russell County today, March 7, as crews will be setting bridge beams as part of the KY 910 interchange project.
Work is scheduled to begin at approximately 8 a.m. Thursday and should be completed this afternoon by 4 p.m. Rolling road blocks will be utilized on the parkway both east and west bound to hold traffic for approximately 15 minutes at a time while the new beams are set in place.
The duration of work may be adjusted for inclement weather or other unforeseeable delays. Motorists can access travel and traffic conditions at http://goky.ky.gov or contribute their own reports at www.waze.com or via the Waze mobile application.
