2 Adair County residents arrested on drug charges after a search of their residence.
On Friday, March 8, 2019 at 6:00pmCT, Adair County Sheriff Josh Brockman, Chief Deputy Justin Cross, Deputy Josh Durbin, and Deputy Chandler Staten went to a residence off Neat Hollow Road to conduct a search of the residence due to suspected narcotics being sold at the home. During the search, several bags of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were discovered in the home.
The following people were arrested:
- Christopher Carson, 37, of Columbia - Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st degree (Methamphetamine), a Failure To Appear warrant for Adair District Court was executed, and an EPO was served
- Rebecca Young, 32, of Columbia - Possession of Controlled Substance, 1st degree (Methamphetamine), and Tampering with Physical Evidence
The case is being investigated by Deputy Sheriffs Justin Cross & Josh Staten.
