A Marion County man arrested for the Rape of a minor, Burglary & other charges.
On March 11, 2019 at 5:33pmET, the Taylor County Sheriff's Office, assisted by Marion County sheriff's Office and Kentucky State Police, executed a search warrant at a residence in Raywick, KY where several electronic devices were seized and arrested Charles Spurlock III, charging him on an arrest warrant with Rape 1st Degree (victim 14 years old), Burglary 2nd Degree, and Use of a minor under the age of 16 in a sexual performance.
The charges came after an investigation of a complaint that Mr. Spurlock forced his way into a residence in Campbellsville, KY earlier this year and sexually assaulted a 14 year old female and used a cellphone to video the crime.
Spurlock was lodged in the Taylor County Detention Center and bond was set at $1000,000.00 cash.
