• On Wednesday, Casey County Sheriff Chad Weddle, assisted by the Casey County Sheriff Dept-Liberty PD Drug Interdiction Team, arrested Joseph Garry Rowland, 41, of W KY 70 during a traffic stop on KY 206. Rowland was arrested for speeding 11 mph over limit, driving on suspended or revoked operator license, no insurance, and DUI-3rd offense.
• On Tuesday, Casey County Chief Deputy Bryan Shepard, Deputy Tim Pierce and KSP Tpr. Billy Begley conducted a traffic stop on US 127 north of Liberty. Sheriff’s K9 Ronnie alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. Justin Brown of Liberty was arrested for possession of a controlled substance (meth), possession of a controlled substance 2nd and 3rd degree and drug paraphernalia along with several traffic violations. Gregory Atwood was arrested for possession of a controlled substance 2nd degree and drug paraphernalia.
• Also Tuesday, Chief Deputy Bryan Shepard and Deputy Tim Pierce arrested Ethan Whited of Liberty on an indictment warrant for possession of a controlled substance (meth) and drug paraphernalia.
