The LAKEFEST Celebration in Jamestown, KY will celebrate its 50th anniversary this year! It is Russell County's longest-running Independence Day celebration. The 2-day festival features pageants, vendors, children's events, and one of Kentucky's premier 5K/10K races. The Saturday night concert draws thousands of folks who fill downtown to enjoy some great music and a spectacular fireworks display. This year's Saturday night concert headliner is the Grammy, CMA, and AMA award winning group: Shenandoah! This group is celebrating 30 years with the nationwide “Shenandoah 30th Anniversary Tour".
