Three Adair County residents were arrested on drug charges after a search warrant was executed at a residence on G Stephens Road in northern Adair County.
On Friday, March 22, 2019 Adair County Sheriff Josh Brockman, Chief Deputy Justin Cross, and Deputies Josh Durbin & Chandler Staten executed a search warrant at a residence suspected of illegal narcotics activity owned by Troy Harris. Located during the search were individual bags of Methamphetamine, scales, drug paraphernalia, cash (suspected as proceeds from the sale of narcotics), firearms illegally possessed by a convicted felon, and equipment commonly used in the manufacture of Methamphetamine.
48-year-old Troy Harris of Adair County was arrested on charges of:
- Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st degree (Methamphetamine)
- Possession of Firearms by a Convicted Felon &
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Also arrested was 27-year-old Erin Thompson and 40-year-old Joshua Adcock both of Columbia, KY. They were charged with:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st degree (Methamphetamine).
All were lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail.
