On Saturday, March 23, 2019 at approx. 11:30pmCT, the Adair County Sheriff’s Office responded to an accident 5 miles east of Columbia on KY 80. 18-year-old Seth Deckard of Columbia, KY was operating a 1996 Toyota when he ran off the road. Deckard was arrested by Adair Co. Deputy Joey Keith and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence, No Insurance and No Operators License. Deckard was transported to TJ Health Columbia by Adair EMS and taken into custody after being released from the hospital. Deputy Keith is continuing the investigation.
