JAMESTOWN, KY (April 14, 2019) - In the early morning hours on Sunday, April 14, 2019 a storm knocked a tree down and the tree fell onto a cabin at Lake Cumberland State Resort Park in Jamestown, KY. Six guests were staying in the cabin, and luckily all six made it out. Emergency medical crews, Kentucky State Police and park staff responded quickly to the incident.
Authorities are still gathering information on this incident. According to a statement from Lake Cumberland State Resort Park, the safety of their guests remains their top priority.
