An Adair County man has been arrested on drug charges and on outstanding warrants.
The Adair County Sheriffs Office was dispatched to the 800 block of Royal Oaks on a suspicious person complaint on Monday, May 6, 2019 at 2:30pmCT. When Deputy Derek Padgett arrived in the area, he located 39 year old Lonnie Taylor of Columbia, KY who matched the description that was given. Upon interviewing the suspect, over 6 grams of methamphetamine was located. It was also found that Taylor had 7 warrants for his arrest from Adair and Taylor counties.
Taylor was arrested and lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail by Sheriffs Deputy Derek Padgett on the following charges:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st degree methamphetamine .
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- 7 Warrants of arrest executed
