On Wednesday, May 8, 2019 the Adair County Sheriff's Office responded to northern Adair County to an area known as "Butler Branch" in response to a suspicious person call. Deputy Josh Durbin located 31-year-old Terry Noe lying in a ditch. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that Noe was in possession of methamphetamine. Noe was arrested and lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st degree (methamphetamine).
On Friday, May 10, 2019 the Adair County Sheriff's office conducted a traffic stop at 9:05pmCT on Campbellsville Street. The driver, Ashley Stotts, 35, of Columbia, KY was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st degree (Methamphetamine) and Possession of a Controlled Substance, 2nd degree. The arrest was made by Chief Deputy Justin Cross and Deputy Chandler Staten. Stotts was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail.
On Saturday, May 11, 2019 the Adair County Sheriff's Office was attempting to locate an Adair County man on an outstanding warrant. When the suspect saw deputies coming, he fled and attempted to hide. 47-year-old Timmy Franklin of Columbia, KY was located hiding in the bed of a truck and was arrested. Deputy Josh Durbin and his K-9 "Nitro" was called to assist. Nitro gave a positive indicator and methamphetamine was located. Franklin was arrested on an outstanding Adair District Court warrant and was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st degree (Methamphetamine). He was lodged in the Adair Co. Regional Jail. Chief Deputy Justin Cross, Deputy Chandler Staten, Deputy Josh Durbin and K-9 Nitro all assissted in the arrest.
