A Russell County man was arrested on drug charges yesterday after a search of his residence.
 
According to Russell County Sheriff Derek Polston, a search warrant was executed Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 5:40pmCT at 386 J. Oaks Road in the Jabez community of Russell County where an indoor grow operation was discovered. As a result, Charles A. Faught was charged with Cultivating Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphanalia. 
 
Sheriff Derek Polston, Chief Deputy Jerry Melton, and Deputies Kenny Perkins & Nathan Ginn were involved in the search. 
 
Sheriff Polston reminds anyone that may have drug problems in their area, to call the Russell County Sheriffs Office Drug/Wanted Persons anonymous tip line at 270-343-8116.
