A Russell County man has been arrested on drug charges as the battle to crack down on illegal drugs in Russell County continues.
According to Russell County Sheriff Derek Polston, a search warrant was executed overnight (just after midnight) on Brown Road in Jamestown just outside city limits. Seized was cash and 13 grams of suspected methamphetamine. Arrested was Derek Neathery, 38, of Jamestown, KY. He was charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. More arrests are forthcoming.
Russell Co. Deputy Nathan Ginn is heading the investigation along with other members of the Russell County Sheriffs Office.
