A New Haven, KY man was arrested on felony drug charges over the weekend by the Adair County Sheriff's Office.
On Sunday, July 14, 2019 at approx. 3:00pmCT, Deputy Josh Durbin and K-9 "Nitro" was dispatched to Holmes Bend Rd after a suspicious male complaint was called in. The male was located around the campground area and identified as 28-year-old Gary Kinder of New Haven, KY. Following an investigation, Deputy's discovered the suspect was in possession of narcotics. Kinder was placed under arrest and lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st degree (Methamphetamine), and Public Intoxication (excludes alcohol).
The investigation is continuing.
