Adair County Deputy Josh Durbin was dispatched to the scene of the accident that occurred on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 1:34amCT on KY206 (Liberty Rd). Crystal Arsin, 40, of Columbia, KY was traveling east on Hwy. 206 in a 1999 Ford F-150, when she dropped off the right shoulder of the roadway and overcorrected, which caused the truck to overturn multiple times. Arsin and a passenger, 19-year-old Amy Padgett of Columbia, KY were ejected from the vehicle. Neither were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.
Adair EMS treated Arsin & Padgett at the scene before transporting them to TJ Health Columbia. Both women were then airlifted to the University of Louisville Hospital for further treatment.
The Adair County Sheriff's Office is continuing the investigation.
