A Taylor County man is charged with stabbing another person in the neck over the weekend.
On Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 7:05pmET, the Taylor County Sheriff's Office responded to Lucky Vista Motel in reference to a male subject with a laceration to the neck. Before arriving on scene, Officers were advised the alleged perpetrator was seen walking down Bell Avenue. Officers made contact with the subject on Gowdy Street where he was detained. After an investigation, 32-year-old Timothy Davis was charged with Assault, 1st degree and lodged in the Taylor County Jail. The victim's name has not been released, but was taken to Taylor Regional Hospital for treatment.
Taylor County Deputy Sheriff Stephen Dobson is the investigating officer. He was assisted on scene by the Campbellsville Police Dept. and Kentucky State Police. This investigation is open and ongoing.
