A Campbellsville, KY woman was shot and killed on Saturday night; the suspect then took his own life.
According to Taylor County Sheriff's Office, the incident occurred at 225 Lyle Road in Campbellsville, KY at 6:36pmET. 42-year-old Jennifer Bennett of Campbellsville, KY was found lying on the ground with a single gunshot wound. Bennett was pronounced dead at the scene by the Taylor County Coroner's Office. Also found with a self inflicted gunshot wound was 42-year-old Anthony Underwood of 31 Tabor Road, Hodgenville, KY. He was airlifted from the scene to UK Hospital in Lexington, KY where he was pronounced deceased by the Fayette Co. Coroner's Office.
The Taylor County Sheriff's Office was assisted at the scene by KSP.
