This afternoon (Friday, August 23rd) Columbia Police Officers were on a call on Tutt Street when a male subject (40-year-old Tony Hadley of Columbia, KY) arrived on the scene and initiated contact with Officers. After speaking with Hadley, Officers gained consent to search him and his vehicle. Several grams of suspected methamphetamine and paraphernalia were located in the auto. Hadley was then taken into custody and charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia as well as Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), a class C felony. He was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail.
 
Officer Evan Burton was the arresting Officer. He was assisted on scene by Sergeant Jr Murphy.
