The Columbia Police department responded to an injury collision on Tuesday evening, September 3, 2019 at the intersection of Greensburg Road and the Columbia Bypass.
The accident occurred when 57-year-old Larry Humphrey of Russell Springs, KY was operating a 2004 Honda Odyssey on Greensburg Road traveling north, and failed to stop at the Bypass intersection. Humphrey was struck by a 2013 Chevy Sonic operated by Audreanna Alley, 30, of Columbia, KY.
A female passenger with Humphrey was ejected from the vehicle and transported by ambulance to TJ Health Columbia before later being taken to University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, KY. Other parties were treated and released.
Sergeant Jr Murphy was the investigating Officer.
