Sheriff's Office news release, 83-year-old Margaret Parson of Campbellsville, KY was traveling west on Spurlington Road, operating a 2008 Chrysler van. Another auto, a 2011 Ford pickup truck being driven by 48-year-old Roy Curry of Campbellsville, KY was traveling west on US 68 East. A 3rd auto, a 2010 Cadillac SUV being driven by 24-year-old Samantha Arnett of Campbellsville, KY was stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of Old Spurlington Road and US 68 East.

As Margaret Parson approached the intersection, witnesses stated she failed to stop and pulled onto US 68 East into the path of Roy Curry's pickup. Curry struck Parson's auto, with the impact causing Parson to strike Samantha Arnett's vehicle. Margaret Parson's auto then overturned.
