On Sunday night, September 8, 2019 CPD Officers responded to a single vehicle injury accident on Burksville Street.
23-year-old Adam Ralph of Columbia, KY was operating a 2002 Ford Taurus, traveling south on Burkesville Street when he left the roadway on the right hand side, dropping into a culvert and ditchline, with the vehicle coming to a stop several yards away, just before Westwood Drive.
Adam Ralph was transported by Adair EMS to TJ Health Columbia for treatment of his injuries. Ralph has been charged with No/Expired Registration Plates, Failure of Non-Owner to Maintain Insurance, and Operating a Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol.
CPD Officer John Dial was the investigating Officer. He was assisted on scene by Officer Adam Cravens and members of the Adair Co. Fire Department. No other parties were injured in the accident.
