On Friday, September 20, 2019 the Taylor Co. Sheriff's Office was dispatched to a burglary in progress on Eastport Road. The victim came home to discover his front door kicked in. The victim gave a description of the vehicle that left prior to Deputies arrival. That vehicle was located at Campbellsville Housing, Anna Court. 33-year-old Wesley Spalding of Loretto, KY was found hiding inside a residence and was in possession of stolen property matching items taken from the burglary, including a handgun. Spalding also has 12 warrants from four different counties. He was arrested and charged with Burglary, 1st degree and transported to the Taylor Co. Detention Center.
Taylor Co. Deputy Brent Burkhead made the arrest. He was assisted by the Campbellsville Police Dept.
