It has been brought to the Russell County Chamber's attention that there is a party that is making phone calls (from a 'private' number) requesting $500.00 to renew their subscription in the Russell County Business District catalog.
Keep in mind that the Chamber will ALWAYS identify themselves as being with the Chamber and will NOT call from a 'private' number. Also, at the moment, there isn't a catalog of Russell County businesses.
The Chamber regrets that these calls are being made, and warns business owners to always be wary of solicitors. PLEASE keep being vigilant with phone calls and emails!
