The Bank of Columbia takes the safety of its customer's identity very seriously. They have been alerted to a new type of FRAUD which involves the scammer spoofing a business phone number and calling the victim pretending to represent them, demanding payments with pre-paid debit/credit cards.
DO NOT give out personal information like your social security number, birthdate, account number, email or PIN over the phone! If you receive a call that shows up as the Bank of Columbia and you do not know the caller, HANG UP and call the bank at 270-384-6433 to verify they called. In any instance that you feel threatened or pressured by any phone call, ALWAYS hang up before giving out any information.
